Dick Ryhal 

PA Facility – Plant Manager  

We feel very fortunate to welcome Dick Ryhal to the Espoma family. Dick is one of the world’s foremost experts in granulation technology, and he’ll be leading the startup and operations at our new facility. Dick spent 11 years as a Technical Manager with Mars Mineral (the producer of our granulation technology). He has traveled the globe commissioning and troubleshooting installations for a wide variety of materials including carbon black, calcium carbonate, and of course, poultry litter. Dick also worked in New Product Development for Carbon Earth, a producer of granulated fertilizers made from poultry litter and synthetic fertilizers. Additionally, he was a co-founder at Renovo LLC, a toll-processor for the food industry, producing granulated materials from rice-hull ash for air purification applications. When he isn’t traveling the world solving granulation challenges, Dick is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, and sporting clays.
